So today I went on a blog search. I started with Edublog, which had a few bum links on it. I found Free Technology for Teachers feed, which which led me to FitBrains and Quiz Tree, sites that have games I can use in my classroom.
Then, I switched to which Technorati, and that was wonderful. It was very easy to navigate and a quicksearch found some blogs of other third grade teachers. I enjoy reading about what goes on in other classrooms--some of our most favorite activities have come from something another teacher has done--and it's also comforting to know that other teachers are facing some of the same challenges I face, as well.
If you go back to Edublogs and look at the annual award winners...you will see some great sites!
ReplyDeleteDon't give up on looking at the various blogs...I sometimes will spend hours of time going from one to the other. I have the Free Technology linked from the RCE web page...
ReplyDeleteYou'll find some that do exactly what we do. If you find one that you really like, see if we can do some activity with them next year...a skype...we did that with the Stones after they moved to Alaska last year.
